June TBR

Hey Beautiful Booklovers! Today I’ll be sharing with you my June TBR, or my intended tbr anyway! Lately I’ve been mood reading and it’s a pain in my ass, but hey what can you do?

Here is my intended reads of June…don’t hold me to them!

1 – Legend by David Gemmell

I’m really in the mood for adult fantasy at the moment and so am hoping to dive into this beauty this month! Plus…I love me an axe!

2 – The Waking Fire by Anthony Ryan

Dragons – need I expand? I think it’s pretty obvious why this in here lol.

3 – Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo

I read book one last year and have been saying I need to continue on, so I think it’s about time I did!!

4 – Eve of Man by Tom Fletcher and Giovanna Fletcher

Eve of Man (Eve of Man Trilogy)

Another book that has been sat on my shelf for way too long! I’m really excited by the concept, and can’t wait to see what I think of it.

5 – Graceling by Kristin Cashore

I’ve heard great things about this book and so have bumped it up on the tbr!

Have you read any of the above books? What does your tbr for June look like? Leave me a link so I can check it out, and as always let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

May TBR

Hey Beautiful Booklovers šŸ˜˜!! I know I didnā€™t post my April tbr last month and thatā€™s because 1 – baby and 2 – Iā€™ve been doing the whole ā€œmood readerā€ thing recently. That being said, I still have a few books that I plan to read this month, and so thought Iā€™d let you know what they are!

1 – Mortal Heart by Robin LaFevers

Mortal Heart (His Fair Assassin Book 3) by [LaFevers, Robin]

This is book number 3 in His Fair Assassins trilogy, and I am super excited to see where this story leads. I had planned to read this in April but other things got in the way, so canā€™t wait to continue this month!

2 – Throne of Jade by Naomi Novik

Throne of Jade (The Temeraire Series, Book 2) by [Novik, Naomi]

Book number 2 in the temeraire series. I own the first 6 books, and am having some serious dragon withdrawal so need books with dragons this month lol!

3 – Fire and Blood by George R R Martin

Fire and Blood: 300 Years Before A Game of Thrones (A Targaryen History) (A Song of Ice and Fire) by [Martin, George R.R.]

Same as the above…Iā€™m having dragon withdrawal šŸ˜‚! I am up to date with my Game of Thrones episodes and man I need some dragons!! I was contemplating re-reading the entire GoT series but thought that would be fairly time consuming, and Iā€™ve already re-read books recently, so I should focus on reading new ones instead!

4 – Aurora Rising by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

So, you should know…Iā€™m trash for Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman! I adore their stuff, and just canā€™t wait for this book! I am so excited, and read the first chapter sneak peak, and Iā€™m too excited!!!! I need it NOW!

Once I have worked my way through these books I plan to do some polls (either on my Instagram story or my Twitter) to get you all to help me pick which books to read next. I have so many on my shelves I want to read and may need your assistance picking the rest of my May reads!

Have you read any of the above books? Are any on your tbr? What books are on your May tbr? Let me know in the comments below!

March TBR

Hello Booklovers! Today’s post is my March TBR! I am still just so shocked that we are in March already! Anyone else? Life is just moving far to fast for me to catch up right now lol!

Anyway, lets get to it, I have compiled a bunch of books I want to get to in March, hopefully I can get through them!

1Ā –Ā TheĀ PrioryĀ ofĀ theĀ OrangeĀ TreeĀ byĀ SamanthaĀ Shannon

Obviously I’m hyped for this book -there are dragons, and I am currently about 440 pages into it! So far I’m really loving it, and can’t wait until you all read it too! I won’t talk about it until I upload my review this month, but even then I will be leaving it spoiler-free. All I’m going to say is this book is meeting my expectations so far!

2Ā –Ā CrownĀ ofĀ FeathersĀ byĀ NickiĀ PauĀ PretoĀ

This is an arc I received through NetGalley and I am slowly chugging through it, so I’m planning on finishing it up quickly.

3Ā –Ā OnceĀ andĀ FutureĀ byĀ AmyĀ RoseĀ CapettaĀ &Ā CoriĀ McCarthyĀ

This is another arc I am planning on getting through quickly, and am super excited for! Who doesn’t love the idea of a King Arthur retelling!

4Ā –Ā TheĀ ExtinctionĀ TrailsĀ byĀ S.Ā M.Ā WilsonĀ

This is a recommendation from a friend (who incidently is dinosaur mad!) and I thought since it’s sat on my shelf why not? The fact that it’s pitched as The Hunger Games meets Jurassic Park seems epic to me, and I’m hoping I love it as much as others in the community.

5Ā –Ā RedĀ RisingĀ byĀ PierceĀ BrownĀ

I figured I am about the last person to read this, and that situation needs remedying urgently! I’ve heard such good things, and honestly don’t read enough Sci-Fi (although I do enjoy it).

6Ā –Ā RedĀ QueenĀ byĀ VictoriaĀ Aveyard

Quite honestly I don’t know why I haven’t read this yet, it has sat on my shelves neglected for far too long, but this month I hope to see what the fuss is all about!

So that is my March TBR if I am able to work my way through this I do have another few to pop onto the list, but for now I aim not to be overly ambitious!

HaveĀ youĀ readĀ anyĀ ofĀ theĀ booksĀ above? Probably,Ā consideringĀ IĀ amĀ theĀ lastĀ oneĀ toĀ theĀ partyĀ onĀ aĀ few! LetĀ meĀ knowĀ in the comments below whatĀ youĀ thought of any of these books,Ā orĀ letĀ meĀ knowĀ whatĀ youĀ areĀ planningĀ onĀ readingĀ thisĀ month.Ā

February TBR

Below is my predicted, and hopeful TBR for the month of February. I have to admit that whilst I do try to stick to my monthly TBR, when left without deadlines etc, I do tend to wander! Be advised this is what I want to read in this month, but perhaps I won’t achieve reading them all, and may detour for a bit. Hey, that’s what wrap ups are for!

  1. Master of Sorrows: The Silent Gods Book 1 by Justin Call
Releases 21 Feb 2019

I requested this as an ARC through NetGalley, and was approved by Orion Publishing Group, so I have to give a huge thank you to the lovely people at Orion. I have the privilege to be currently reading this before it releases towards the end of the month, and so far so good. Look out for this book in my Wrap Up

2. Elantris by Brandon Sanderson

I was supposed to finish this book in the month of January, but well…I didn’t. So, this is a rollover, but one that I will definitely finish. It is also part of a readalong with Elliot Brooks over at https://www.instagram.com/ebnovels/?hl=en You may be more familair with her over on her Youtube Channel – I’ll link her 2019 Readalong video if you want to check out, and join in on the Sanderson/ Sapkowski fun! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmjIQEChIvI

3. Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb

This is part of my year long reading ambition to read all the Robin Hobb books. I know a lot of people start with this series and enjoy it, so I am excited!

4. Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski

This is part of the Witcher, and Sanderson Readalong I mentioned above.

5. China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan

This is just for fun, I recently read Crazy Rich Asians and really enjoyed it, so wanted to continue on with the series to see where it goes.

6. Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson

Again part of the Readalong, but this is the Sanderson book of February…the one I was supposed to be on!

There you have it my official TBR for the month of February, hopefully I can manage it! What are you reading this month? Let me know in the comments.
